Outstanding Advantages
- LiOA Copper Rod is produced by Upcast – Continuous Casting technology from pure copper cathode, yielding oxygen-free copper with Cu purity up to 99.993% (Ø8mm type, SGS certified). The in-house process within LiOA Copper’s closed production chain ensures quality control from the raw material and high consistency across batches.
- The modern Upcast system at the Hung Yen factory tightly controls casting temperature and speed, delivering products with stable mechanical properties and high electrical conductivity (≥ 100% IACS) — reducing energy loss along transmission.
- The product range is highly diverse, with dozens of available diameters from Ø7.94mm to Ø39mm and the ability to produce to order up to Ø80mm, in all three tempers (half hard, hard, soft). Customers can therefore easily select the right mechanical properties for each purpose — soft copper is convenient for bending, drawing and forming, while hard and half-hard tempers retain high mechanical strength for conductors and load-bearing parts.
- As a flexible intermediate semi-finished product, LiOA Copper Rod serves as input for copper wire-drawing lines (from Ø0.1mm to Ø8mm), magnet wire and stranded copper production, and machining into shaped copper parts for the electrical and electronic industries.
- The two Upcast types Ø8mm and Ø12.5mm have test reports and independent SGS inspection certificates; the process holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications — providing quality assurance with transparent documentation for customers and export partners.
