In cooperation with American Wire, LiOA Electric joined the 44th Annual National Convention of the Institute of Electrical Engineers of the Philippines (IIEE) held in the SMX Convention Center at the Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City on November 27-30, 2019.
Founded in 1975, IIEE is the only accredited professional organization of electrical practitioners by the Professional Regulation Commission in the Philippines. It has a membership base of more than 54,000 electrical practitioners who are decision-makers, specifiers, designers, contractors, consultants, supply managers/procurement officers, project managers, facility managers, agents, and end-users of electrical, electronics and energy products.
With this year’s theme, “Distinctive Journey on Advancing Global Competitiveness”, the convention hosted several activities such as an exhibit, technical sessions and product presentations, an educator’s forum and practitioner’s forum, and plant tours. In the exhibit, LiOA fire rated cables, medium voltage cables, high voltage cables, and armored low voltage cables were featured, along with the building wires and unarmored low voltage cables of American Wire.
Attendees had the opportunity to interact with the LiOA Electric cable display boards and to review the LiOA Electric cable catalogues given in the booth. Through marketing efforts such as this, LiOA Electric hopes to create a bigger presence in the Philippine market.
